THE BETHANY PRE AND PRIMARY SCHOOL TERM REPORT FOR STANDARD THREE JANUARY TO MARCH 2020 My name is Miss Tabu Titus.  I have been teaching year 3’s children From January to March.  I have 28 pupils, 9 boys and 19 girls. It has been an excellent work as well as blessing. I have enjoyed teaching these children and we have also created bond and able to share our ideas to make a great achievement in education. Year three attendance this term is about 89%. This is because of Suzana Samson who is missing to attend to school with no any reason. Moreover, pupils in year three had a very good quality of learning. I have used different methods and ways of teaching. These include one by one teaching method, group work, presentation and group discussion between pupils themselves and pupils with a teacher as well role play. Also as a class teacher I have used different resources during teaching. These include text books, pictures, displays and many other more to help children learn more effectively. Due to COVID- 19 disease, currently pupils are studying at home and most of them are doing well. I always provide weekly home work, this program worked well to some pupils. However there are some challenges, because some of the parents they are not coming to take home works of their children. These parents are like a parent of Robert James, Suzana Samson,Mary Josephat and Onesmo Daniel. Areas for development. Year three need to develop their times tables. In addition, Teleza Japhet, Anna Peter, Aman Khija, Misoji Mathias and Suzy Basondoli need to develop their reading skills. Also as a class teacher next time I want to focus more in Social Studies Subject.  Reading, Writing and Maths. As a class teacher I have used different ways to assess pupils with their reading, writing and maths.  From this assessment, it shows that most pupils in year three are doing great maths, reading and writing whilst few of them are still developing in some areas such as reading. In addition, there are other methods that they were implemented to assess children’s learning and understanding. These include morning quizzes, English spellings every morning and monthly tests.  Moreover, as a class teacher I am so much proud of the year 3’s behaviour in general. Most of the pupils in this class are well behaved. I have no any intensive behaviour complains, issues or records from any one at all. However you would very rarely punish them for doing normal and minor mistakes just as any child would do. Class meeting have so much helped to maintain the pupils’ behaviour in my class.  To conclude, I would like to say thank you head teacher for your good consistent support and encouragement for these pupils. Also thank you for working hand in hand with us Nonetheless, I am very proud of them and other teachers who help to teach them. Written and prepared by the class teacher Tabu Titus Joseph
