MY LIFE STORY AT THE BETHANY PROJECT (unedited) My name is Miss Tabu Titus Joseph, I’m thirty two years old, I’m married and I have got two children. I have being  working at Bethany as a teacher since May 2011. My first class to teach was having six pupils who were Maige Pastory,  Edina Shaban, Happiness Peter, Happiness Balitazali, Kundi Robert and Silas Yusuph, some of these pupils are in  university for instance Maige Pastory, Edina Shaban and Happiness Peter. My teaching at The Bethany project passed through different challenges, for instance, since I reported at Bethany  2011 to 2012 the school was not registered, we were not free in our work because the government didn’t allow  schooling without registration of the centre. Due to that, we were not using openly venue to teach and sometimes we  were teaching at night so as to avoid the hand of the government, in 2012 the school was closed by the government  and our pupils were taken to Yitwimila primary school. From 2013 the construction of The Bethany Pre and Primary  school started and the work ended in 2014. The school was registered and it started to operate in 2015. All pupils who  were temporally taken to Yitwimila School were taken back to our school. Not only that, but also, fluent English speaking was a challenge to me, I was not having enough English vocabularies,  due to this I used my time to learn more vocabularies from my fellow teachers and volunteers from UK.  Despite of passing through those challenges at Bethany, different assistance from United Kingdom were given to  improve our work, for instance, UK donors constructed school in which schooling at Bethany was freely without any  disturbance from the government, moreover currently I have laptop which I got it cheaply from the UK donors, this is  helping me to learn English language online, to type different documents related to my work like reports, examinations and pupils academic results. However, on 11st July 2011 I was rewarded a certificate of child-care at Bethany, whereby Miss Jesca James Paul  and Mrs Emmakulatha Robert Zephaniah conducted the seminar about child-care. This seminar helped me to raise my  standard in teaching pupils. I have being learning positive things every minute from the environment surrounding me (my fellow teachers, my  pupils and other people). Not only that but also, the head teacher of the Bethany school has being my role model in  my work and in my life in general, she always assist me morally in different aspects of my work. I am so proud to spend my time at Bethany family joining the UK donors who are running the project, The project has  helped different people who are in need, also I have benefited much from the project, for instance, currently my son  Gilbert Kanuth is studying at The Bethany Pre and Primary School and I have mastered English language both  speaking and writing, I have experience in caring children of different category (children who are physically and  mentally fit and those who are not physically and mentally fit), also I have developed positive attitude toward  voluntary works in the community.   May the heavenly God rewards abundant blessing to the leaders of the Bethany Project and other supporters from UK  who are using their time, energy, brain and resources to help the underprivileged, deprived and vulnerable people  in Tanzania.
