When new children are accepted at Bethany everyone warmly welcomes them but we remind them that all those who join us must work hard and behave well.
This applies to everyone from the oversight team, the Tanzanian management team, the staff, and the all the children.
When we say ‘Hard Work’ we mean we must work to the best of our ability, consistently, not only with school work but with all the chores around Bethany. (cleaning, cooking, washing etc. etc.)
When we say ‘Good Behaviour’ we base this on New Testament revelation of God’s love for us and our response by loving Him and one another. Therefore any behaviour that does not show love, care and concern for all others is unacceptable. ( This of course includes truthfulness, honesty, openness and integrity )
