LAZARO This song talks about the Rich Man and Lazarus as written in Luke chapter 16 v 19. The rich man dies and goes to hell and Lazarus the beggar dies and goes to heaven. From hell the rich man implores Abraham to send Lazarus back to witness to his relatives the reality of hell as punishment for what is done/ not done whilst on earth. This song encourages people to receive Jesus but of course the choice is theirs.
TULIOMWAMINI This song talks about Salt and Light as written in Matthew chapter 5 v13. Jesus said to his disciples ‘You are the salt of the earth’ and warned about losing its saltiness. He also said ‘You are the light of the world’ and encouraged his followers to let their light shine before men that they may see your good deeds and praise God.
NITAMWINUA This song talks about the personal relationship with Jesus above all other even that of family. In Matthew chapter 12 v 49 Jesus makes it clear that whoever does the will of his Father is his brother and sister and mother.. This song encourages us to lift his name on high and give him praise.
MATESO This song talks about the death of Jesus on the cross for my sake and for yours. His comforting words in the midst of suffering. Jesus said ‘forgive them for they no not what they do’ and his response to repentance of the robber crucified with Him ‘I tell you the truth today you will be with me in paradise’
TUMEOKOLEWA This song talks about how we are saved by God’s grace and not by good works. We cannot earn his favour but will be able to stand before him because by his grace we are forgived and accepted if we confess our wrongdoing and accept Jesus as Lord of your life.
VAENI SIRAHA This song talks about spiritual fight against the devil and the need to use prayer and the word of God to resist him. In Ephesians chapter 6 v 10 we are instructed to put on the full armour of God so that you can overcome the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil.
YOHANA This song talks about John the Baptist and his ministry to proclaim the coming of the long expected Saviour. His message of repentance, turning to God and receiving forgiveness and grace. John baptised with water but there was one to come who would baptise with the Holy Spirit.
VITA This song also talks about John the Baptist and the spiritual fight against the devil and the necessity to be baptised in the Holy Spirit to resist evil. Because many will enter by the wide gate but few by the narrow gate which leads to salvation and the promise of eternity with God.
BABA YETU This song talks about how Jesus taught his disciples to pray using the Lord’s Prayer. He encouraged his followers to confess their sins through prayer and that God is faithful and will forgive them. No one comes to the Father but through Jesus his son.
BWANA YESU This song talks about the time Jesus went about healing the lame, the paralysed, the blind, the deaf, the dumb and those possessed by evil spiritual forces. Through his actions he showed his Father’s compassion for the disadvantaged and poor members of society. Also the authority and power to heal in a supernatural way.

KILIO CHA MTOTO YATIM This song talks about the orphans and widows in their distress and who will listern to them. In James chapter 1 v 27 it is written that the Father accepts as pure and faultless the religion that puts his commands into practice and looks after the most underprivileged, deprived and vulnerable members of society especially orphans.
HUKUMU This song talks about the judgement coming to unbelievers and God’s desire for people to STOP and THINK about who Jesus is and how you can by turning your life over to him avoid being separated from God. In Matthew chapter 25 v 31 Jesus talks about when the Son of Man will come in his glory and will separate the people from one another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
