MY LIFE STORY AT BETHANYMy name is Magdalena Thomas Masanja; I am 27 years old and a single mother to John. I am a born again Christian who depends on God as a saviour for each and everything in my life. I started working at TheBethany Project as an assistant teacher (T.A) in 2015, back then I was only a secondary school graduate (form 4 leaver)with very limited English and life experience. I worked very hard, and in 2019 I was given a chance of becoming a STD 1class teacher. I am enjoying this experience and I am becoming more confident. Working at the Bethany school has been such a blessing to me and I have benefited a lot, for instance: my son is studyingat this school; also my life has changed from being a dependent woman to independent woman with Christian values. WhenI look back at my life I am so proud of the woman I am today, and all this is because of working at the Bethany school. I amso grateful for the opportunity of helping these young people here. I am always grateful for our supporters and volunteerswho have been and are a great help to us back here in Tanzania. Adding on, because of the Bethany school I am now able to communicate well in English. Initially I was not able to speakEnglish properly especially in teaching but now I am confident enough to teach different subjects in English.Lastly, I want thank all the Sponsors from the UK and the Head teacher for giving me an opportunity to be part of theteaching staff at the Bethany school. I promise to work very hard so as to achieve our school goals and serve the Bethanyvision. Thank you and God bless you.Miss Magdalena Masanja
