A new Vehicle for BethanyAfter the tragic accident on the 23rd Feb when our old Land Rover hit a pothole, careered into a tree killing one of our children and injuring many others it appears our old Land Rover pictured left is irrepairable ( a write off ). Whilst we have another vehicle which is over 15 years old we believe it is time to replace our old Landrover with a new Toyota Land Cruiser and our old Land Cruiser can take over the duties of our now defunct Land Rover. A new Toyota Land Cruiser like the one shown costs £46,000 bought from Toyota in Tanzania. Whilst very expensive they are very well built and we expect it to last perhaps 25 years (like our old Land Rover). We intend to dedicate our new vehicle to the memory of Baraka. If you can help fund raise towards this purchase we would be most grateful.
Target to raise £46,000 so far by 1st May 2020 - £28,687Updated every week

Jesca Paulo received a reprimand for allowing Kulwa Chacha to drive the Land Rover and Kulwa was found guilty of 7 driving offences and fined 630,000Tsh. Both have shared the fine. We are now looking at ways of improving the health and safety at Bethany and advising on policy and disciplinary procedures.Click here to see extracts from an email from Jesca (28/03/2020).
